  • Tim Spellings, M.MFT, LMFT, LCDC

Reaching out takes great courage, especially when someone is seeking guidance. Life has the tendency to cause people to cope in ways that are not necessarily beneficial. They may develop problems like depression or anxiety as a result of stressors. Or, they may turn towards abusing substances as a way to change how they feel. Reaching out for help during this time may be scary and seem impossible. My goal, as a therapist, is to come alongside my clients so that they don’t walk alone through whatever may be troubling them. I hope to be able to help anyone struggling to deal with life on life’s terms.

I have worked in the addiction field for over 6 years. I have also received training in the area of Trauma and PTS. I can perform Marital and Premarital counseling for all couples as well. My goal is to help any person adapt to their problem and overcome it efficiently such that they move forward confidently without the guidance of therapy.

Many of life’s problems feel overwhelming and, to be sure, they are if one does not have anyone around to help shoulder the weight. I would encourage you to reach out and ask for support if you feel stuck. I have often heard it said that nothing changes if nothing changes. If you find yourself in this place, please allow me to lend a helping hand.
